ECF is delighted to announce the 50 Idea Makers who have been selected to attend this year’s Idea Camp in Botkyrka, Sweden from 23 to 25 September 2015. Over three days the Idea Makers will share and discuss their ideas, work together to refine their proposals, and hear from inspirational speakers.

The theme of this year’s Idea Camp is ‘Build the City’ and it is dedicated to daring and innovative ideas that involve communities and culture in shaping, governing and re-inventing our cities and their surroundings.

The 50 selected ideas span a wide range of countries, professional sectors and themes. But they
all contribute to the overall aims of Connected Action for the Commons programme. The final 50 ideas were selected from over 400 proposals by ECF and a jury of expert advisors.

  • investigate and further develop their ideas
  • exchange knowledge and find new collaborations
  • inspire and connect with other practitioners from different sectors
  • who are working with culture and communities
  • explore and challenge new democratic alternatives.
