From 9 to 14 May 2016, photographer Joris van Gennip is taking over our Instagram account.
Joris explains that photography for him is a way to visually explain the world to himself and hopefully to others. Around 10 months ago, Joris fell in love, resulting in a back and forth travel between Istanbul and Amsterdam. He describes Istanbul that as "beautiful yet so terrifying to me because of recent terrorist attacks". Throughout the takeover, he will share photographs examining this fear and love for a city that is now part of his life.
