ECF Princess Margriet Awards 2008-2014: An overview of past Award winners

The ECF Princess Margriet Award is a tribute to HRH Princess Margriet of the Netherlands, who served as ECF's President from 1983 to 2007 and was established in 2008 by the ECF in partnership with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This video clip and the brochure below highlight 2013 laureates Yoel Gamzou and Dan and Lia Perjovschi and the previous ECF Princess Margriet Award laureates which include cultural theorist, the late Stuart Hall (UK), choreographers Jérôme Bel (FR) & Pichet Klunchun (TH), dramaturg Borka Pavićević (ME/RS), theatre-maker Stefan Kaegi (CH), artists Kutluğ Ataman (TR) and Šejla Kamerić (BA), film-maker John Akomfrah (UK) and curator Charles Esche (UK/NL), dating from the first award to the fifth award.

The newly published brochure also includes 2014 laureates Teatro Valle Occupato and Teodor Celakoski.
