Tandem is our cultural managers exchange programme. It supports long-term cooperation, knowledge development and networking opportunities between cultural managers from the EU and outside the EU. Currently, the programme has many events happening across Europe and beyond, including two open calls and exhibitions.

OPEN CALL. Deadline extended to 22/09 – The deadline is approaching for organisations wanting to take part in our new TANDEM programme Dialogue for Change, which supports cultural organisations building cross-border partnerships between Ukraine and the EU. Apply!
OPEN CALL. Deadline 15/10 – Cultural organisations can apply for second round of TANDEM “Community & Participation”. This exchange programme supports cultural organisations to set up long-term partnerships with peers across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK. Applicants actively promote citizen participation and community engagement through arts and culture. Apply!

20/09 > 20/10 – After a successful show in London, the Syria in Transit exhibition moves to Gaziantep. The result of a collaboration between TANDEM participants Jon Davis and Kemal Vural Tarlan, it reveals through photography, sound and video, the stories of Syrians on the edge of war in Turkey and those attempting the dangerous journey across Europe to the UK.
Until 31/10, various cities – Tracing a legendary Ottoman explorer’s journey across western Turkey and Romania, Following Evliya Celebi’s Hoofprints is an exhibition in Turkey and Germany that’s part of the TANDEM Cultural Managers Exchange Programme.
